Bill's career began as a touring Broadway Electrician.  Traveling throughout America and Canada's major Theatre markets, He has visited all 50 states.  He managed lighting equipment maintenance and operations of several Broadway tours including: Riverdance, Ave Q, In The Heights, West Side Story, and White Christmas.  Bill worked exclusively for Cirque du Soleil as their Head of Lighting on Zarkana: a show that enjoyed summer residencies in New York at Radio City Music Hall for two years, also touring through Madrid, Spain and Moscow, Russia.

 

Bill's education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University.  He specialized in Theater Design and Computer Technology, and was able to apprentice with IATSE both at Purdue (IA local 174) and in Indianapolis (IA local 30.)

He is now a proud member of IATSE local 74 in Connecticut.

Bill also has experience focusing in Television Lighting. He worked as a Lighting Director for NBC Sports in Stamford, CT. This opportunity allowed 

NBC operates a new 300,000 square foot facility in Connecticut. From 5 Television studios, they produce such shows as Premiere League Soccer, NASCAR America, NHL Live, Football Night in America, and more.

TV credits include programs airing on HBO, MTV, NBC, NBCSports, BET, Spike, TrueTV, USA, Comedy Central, Food Network.

Recent broadcast work includes Chopped, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, Americas got Talent, Lip Sync Battle, Wild n' Out, And Comedy KnockOut .

He offers extensive knowledge using Vectorworks, Lightwright, ETC Systems, GrandMA 2 Programming and Networking.
